So far we have had a pretty mild Spring here in Charleston. While the weather is so pleasant I thought I would share some things to do when you visit Charleston, SC.

The list below is in no real order…

Walking or, if you feel energetic, running the recently built Ravenel Bridge

If you are looking for great views of the Holy City, Charleston Harbor and the islands, the scenes from the top of the bridge cant be beat. If you go to the Mt. Pleasant side, there is abundant parking. Just follow the crowd up the bridge.

Visit the Rhett Aiken House

The home represents one of the most well preserved, inside and out, public homes in Charleston, SC. Walking through the home is like stepping back in time.

Catch a show at the oldest playhouse in the USA – The Dock Street Theater.

Many accounts of this place being haunted. Pretty cool place to see a play.

Visit the beach for the day….We have three in Charleston – Folly Beach, Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms. Included below are links to the two with public parks. Sullivan’s Island is accessible by the public, but they don’t have an oceanfront park.

Isle of Palms – http://www.ccprc.com/index.aspx?NID=60

If you are traveling this way and want some personalized things to do, please feel free to call or email me with what you are looking to do.

Kind Regards – Bob
